With a combined experience of 30 years in the construction industry in luxury residential housing and complex large-scale commercial projects, Mike and Shaun make an inspiring team as the directors of Lamont Dumaresq Projects.
MIKE DUMARESQ
Having worked his entire career in the luxury residential market, Mike has been involved in some of Cape Town’s most prestigious high-end home builders. After managing his renowned family business, he moved on to key operational roles for other prominent building contractors in both the residential and commercial markets. Having concentrated in the City’s most opulent suburbs, Mike is a familiar name in the industry and has left his mark throughout his career with successful projects, great working relationships and satisfied clients.
SHAUN LAMONT
With over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, Shaun has worked overseas and locally as a consultant quantity surveyor on iconic commercial projects and continues to be registered under the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) as well as being a member if the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (ASAQS). Seeking new challenges, he shifted across to an accomplished local building contractor working on complex, large scale projects, including heritage, where he managed their commercial department under ISO-9001 structures and cutting-edge construction technology. Shaun is passionate about working in teams and delivering a product of excellence.
